Zeus sends a mysterious box down to this girl Pandora, as a gift.

He tells her that, no matter what, Pandora must NEVER open the box.

Of course, time passes, and it doesn't take long for curiousity to get the better of Pandora... and she opens the box.

When she does, all the horrors and terrors of the world fly out into existence.

and when they do, the world becomes an insufferable place.

..but after she gets past all the bad things, right at the bottom of the box, out flies one last thing...

Although Pandora released pain and suffering into the world, she also allowed Hope to follow them.

..I guess the idea being maybe we are stronger than the worst things the world can throw at us, as long as we have Hope by our side.
